Guillaume Braquet holds the Agrégation d’anglais and is currently an Attaché Temporaire d’Enseignement et de Recherche (Teaching Fellow) at the University of Lyon III – Jean Moulin. He is completing his PhD dissertation, which is entitled « Le Lieu de l’observateur : penser la mémoire en Grande-Bretagne au XIXème siècle », under the supervision of Professor Lawrence Gasquet. He is affiliated to the IETT Research Laboratory. He works on the representation and conceptualization of memory in space and in the arts (Museology, Memory Arts…). His research interests also include the construction of memory in nineteenth-century literary and scientific narratives (Brontë, Eliot, Dickens, Darwin).
